Safety pallet gate type SG44 - vertically sliding and folding

Some platforms have very little depth in terms of set-back and height, and still need to be equipped with a safety system securing their void edge. The SG44 type safety gate is a sliding and folding type that completely clears the pallet deposit area, as the rear guardrail folds to the front part (unlike the SG4 type, which slides upwards).

In the open position, the SG44 type safety gate has a front sliding guardrail that is raised and an unfolded rear guardrail that prevents access to the pallet deposit area. Once the load is deposited, the operator folds the rear guardrail up, closing the sliding front guardrail at the same time. The entire area in line with the pallet is accessible, and operators can move around on the 3 rear sides, with the working height not restricted by the closed pallet gate.

This safety gate-type can be used in conjunction with a load handler or hoist at the rear. It is recommended for an installation in corridors or shallow areas.

It can also be made in galvanised, stainless steel or aluminium version.

It is manual, but can be automated as an option.
