Some situations require different means.
When transferring pallets from the ground floor to a storage platform, suitable protection must be put in place to ensure the safety of the operator and the load during the operation and to avoid any risk of falling.
When the ceiling height of a work platform is limited, when handling is only carried out by hoist or stacker, or if the loads to be transferred to this platform have quite specific characteristics, it is not possible to install a "conventional" safety gate to protect the edge of the void.
To overcome this difficulty, AC2M offers its circular pallet gate. It consists of two fixed guardrails installed on the platform, inside which is a rotating mobile guardrail that slides sideways. Clever, isn't it?
In the closed position, the rotating part protects the edge of the void and guarantees the continuity of the guardrail. To allow the pallet to be deposited on the platform, the operator turns le guardrail in the direction of the platform, which simultaneously opens the void side and closes the platform side. Once the pallet has been deposited, the operator reverses the procedure to gain access to the load. He can now depalletise or remove the pallet in complete safety.
