AC2M focuses on reducing its carbon footprint

Since 2013, the Éco-défis (Eco-Challenges) label has been created in several regions and awarded by the Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat (CMA), in partnership with local authorities, to highlight the concrete actions taken by craftspeople to protect the environment.

The Éco-défis bring together a large number of businesses to take simple, eco-responsible action.

Concerned about its carbon footprint, AC2M, manufacturer of CPE (collective protection equipment  like safety pallet gates, folding stairways with or without access platforms and mobile safety ladders) has joined the Éco-défis in 2019 by respecting short production and supply circuits. AC2M uses local suppliers to support the regional economy, but above all to reduce the long-distance transport of goods and make responsible purchases. In terms of waste management, AC2M has opted for a policy of selective sorting and recycling of materials.

The entire range of products developped to ensure operator safety on platforms and tank vehicles is manufactured in a short circuit in our workshops in France at Dry (Centre region, 45).

AC2M is also part of the French Fab community, the network of French industrial excellence, launched in 2017 by Bruno Lemaire, Minister for the Economy, and created to showcase French craftmanship.
