Established in the Loiret region since 1998, AC2M specialises in the design and manufacture of safety gates, mobile ladders and folding stairways for tank access.

When pallets are loaded onto platforms using forklift trucks, stackers, hoists, etc., there is an open area in the guardrails or solid walls. At this point, the operator is in contact with the void and there is a risk of falling. These pallet gates ensure the safety of pallet loading areas on platforms at height. The safety gates ensure the continuity of the guardrail while leaving a space of sufficient size available for operators to remove loads using a handling machine. The operators working on the platform remain safe at all times during handling thanks to the kinematics of the guardrail, whatever its movement: tilting, lifting, sliding, etc. Once in a closed position, the guardrail prevents the risk of operators falling through the protective rails or small objects falling through the baseboard in the lowered position. The pallet loading gates ensure the safety of the staff during these sensitive operations.

Folding stairways for tank access: when taking samples or loading tanks, operators have to climb onto the tank dome. Herefore, they use the tank's gangway and are not protected from the risk of falling. When a tank truck arrives on an industrial site, it is necessary to intervene on the dome in order to carry out various operations: taking samples, opening manholes, etc... . At this point, the operators or drivers are putting themselves at risk when they are on the tank gangway. Folding stairs provide a guardrail around the area where work is being carried out. They are designed to adapt to the height of the tank, thanks to their deformable staircase, which allows a fairly wide range of access (+ or - 45°). The guardrail is also adapted to the length of the tank. It can also be adjusted for versatility. Once the operator has positioned his vehicle, the area on top is secured by the folding stairs, just like a platform. At this point, he can move freely on the entire dome of the tank to carry out his operations.
